Our favourite hotel in London. Unparalleled service.
The Stafford is a lovely hotel which makes you feel like you are at home. The staff is friendly and efficient but do not bombard you. I love their public areas which are very cosy. The only negatives are that you can hear the music below if you stay in the Carriage House and you have to walk through the smokers outside to get to your room (a much bigger negative than the music). They should arrange the tables for smoking away from the carriage house by putting them on the other side nearer the two entrances to the hotel (but not to the American Bar).
Excellent service, ambiance and location.Terrific location. Staff all so friendly & helpful. Our 3 rooms were quite good except for the price although well appointed we were disappointed in the size of the 305 bathroom & the shower was too small, & no double sink,
